Why do we do this?

I sometimes work in a call center to supplement my meager income. I sometimes take phone calls for weight loss drugs. I sometimes receive calls from preteen girls. This bothers me. This bothers me a lot.

When these girls call they sound so sad. I just want to tell them not to pay mind to the TV, radio, movies, magazines, videos etc. How are these girls supposed to feel secure about themselves when all they see are half naked starved woman at every turn? Why do we do this. The pressure we put on girls to stay young, be beautiful and thin is ridiculous. I find it odd that you see so many ad's articles etc. Concerning beauty yet very few concerning things that really matter. Nothing on how to pick the right school, how to donate to charity or just simply make yourself a better person from the inside.

If any of those girls by some miracle are reading this. You are beautiful. I don't have to see you to know this. Please do not let the medias perception of beauty skew yours. You are beautiful!

Viruses Suck

Nothing fancy today just an expletive filled rant concerning the damning world of computer viruses. I use spyware, virus scan and firewalls and yet still here I do sit on my lil old computer trying to find a way to remove a pesty "backdoor trojan". Sidenote, whoever came up with that name was very obviously into things they probably shouldn't be so blatant about.

chest pains and homicidal thoughts may be a sign to take a break but I was never one to follow signs. I like detours baby and if that detour takes me down roads of hostility all the better!

Crack by any other name?

I believe you can tell a lot about a person by just a few of their ideas or opinions. Beyond personality traits , more along the lines of heritage and background.

For instance what is the first thing you think of when you read this circled news story:







Most people would think of a simply of a crack in the structure. Me, I read that and thought one of the astronauts hid crack somewhere in the shuttle. Now that would be a very ghetto shuttle. Maybe my snoop dog post has got to me or what but I think I just need to blast some Metallica and clear my head. Oh and we can all celebrate with gusto cause lil kim gets out early. Hey! Wait. I don't think I am nuts maybe I just read that headline about lil kim and immediatly thought of crack. Hell, who wouldnt. See now I can rest assured that I am not nuts and probably need to read more.
